though i am late..................allow me to say...........

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

i have got a ticket to watch the parade live on 9th Aug 2006!! Very happy to be given one ticket by AMC, brother of ACM --Tuna..very unwillingly, i went to the parade with tuna..hahaha..

i tell you! this is my first time watching a parade on the actual day itself! how can i not be excited? you tell me, you tell me?!

I am in red too..because we will be fined for not wearing red! hahaha..of course NOT..i am just kidding..but everyone else is in red..woo hoo..so paiseh..one look can tell that we are heading to kallang..lol

i did enjoyed myself right from alighting at kallang MRT..wow! serve those ppl for being lazy right..if you walked to the stadium (instead of taking the free shuttle bus)..lotsa of activities are going-on..without knowing, you reached the stadium..there's hockey, street-art, 20 ice-cream sellers (this is crazy, so many for wat?) and etc..

when reaching the stadium, there's hip-hop, skipping, cheer-leading, free milk, free bun, one dono what name lion, stit-walkers and i-am-oh-so-angry balloon makers (why i am angry, pse read on to find out)..

they are making some balloons which are so nice..so i decided to wait for one myself..finally, mine was ready! yippee! so happy..and i carried it inside the stadium..so shocked..our blue section was crowd-free (not many ppl waiting to admit)..wow..still early la..so me and tuna just went in and stopped by two different ppl, asking for extra tickets..of course, we wont have..my ticket so precious, where got extra?? after scanning my bag, its time to collect our fun-packs..it was not called fun-pack for fun leh..i think quite fun la..cus i am quite anxious to see what's inside..it's heavy lo..

so after entering the stadium..it was so grand! whole stadium was red!! so nice! and also meant, we are late..all seats are filled up (that explained why blue section no crowd at the entrance liao la)..because i waited too long for the balloon, we ended up sitting at first row..dont think concert hor..first row good..NO LOH..ours happened to be near the steps where ppl move..arghh..i was grumbling though it was my fault to wait for the balloon..hahaha..sorry tuna, that's why i promised not to BBQ you..

one super duper kind uncle behind me actually missed half the show, because whenever ppl walked past, this uncle will lend his hand to help those down the steps..who say singaporeans are proud and not helpful? but he took my flag by mistake..i have no flag to wave to our president! :))

though our seats were not too good, we were quite near the center stage..so can see chen wei lian..lol..forget to mention, my long waited balloon was stepped by someone and it became out of shape and half of the balloon deflated before reaching sembawang..sob sob..

btw, well done all participants!! Thanks for your hardwork and efforts! :D
